How to setup a custom domain for your Status Page

Setup Custom Domain

  1. Navigate to your Status Page configuration settings

  2. Enter your desired custom domain in the domain configuration field

  3. In your DNS provider (like Cloudflare), create a CNAME record pointing to the record given in Bastion

  4. Important: When setting up the CNAME record, ensure that proxy/CDN features are disabled (DNS only)

Usage

After configuring your custom domain, it may take some time for DNS changes to propagate. This can vary depending on your DNS provider and local DNS cache. If you don't see the changes immediately, try:

  • Waiting 15-30 minutes for DNS propagation

  • Clearing your browser cache

  • Clearing your system's DNS cache

Note: While CDN/proxy features (like Cloudflare's proxy) might work with some configurations, it's recommended to keep proxy disabled for the most reliable setup.
