How does rescanning affect manually resolved findings?
Last updated: July 4, 2025
When you run a rescan, it will check all previous findings, including those that were manually resolved. Here's how different manual resolutions are handled during a rescan:
Manual ResolutionBehavior During Rescan | |
Accepted Risk | Remains as "Accepted Risk" even if detected again |
Closed Manually | Changes to "Open" if detected again |
False Positive | Remains as "False Positive" even if detected again |
This means that only findings marked as "Closed Manually" will be reopened if the vulnerability is detected again during a rescan. "Accepted Risk" and "False Positive" statuses are preserved to maintain your assessment decisions.
