How does rescanning affect manually resolved findings?

Last updated: July 4, 2025

When you run a rescan, it will check all previous findings, including those that were manually resolved. Here's how different manual resolutions are handled during a rescan:

Manual ResolutionBehavior During Rescan

Accepted Risk

Remains as "Accepted Risk" even if detected again

Closed Manually

Changes to "Open" if detected again

False Positive

Remains as "False Positive" even if detected again

This means that only findings marked as "Closed Manually" will be reopened if the vulnerability is detected again during a rescan. "Accepted Risk" and "False Positive" statuses are preserved to maintain your assessment decisions.
