How does issue resolution and rescanning work?
Last updated: July 23, 2025
When you mark an issue as resolved in the platform, this status change does not immediately trigger a new scan to verify the resolution. Here's how the verification process works:
Automatic Scans
The system automatically runs scans on a monthly basis. During these scans:
If an issue is no longer detected, it will be automatically marked as resolved
If an issue is still present:
Issues marked as "false positive" or "risk accepted" will remain in that state
All other issues will be reopened
Manual Rescans
You can manually trigger a new scan to verify issue resolution. However, please note there is a limit of one scan per week.
Simply marking an issue as resolved does not verify that the underlying problem has been fixed. Wait for the next automatic scan or trigger a manual scan to confirm the resolution.
